User's info
Hi! I'm Melanie and as you can see I am Dutch. There are quite a few different regional accents and dialects in the Netherlands. I live near Utrecht, but I don't have the typical 'Utregs' accent that people tend to have around here. I have no noticable accent, you could consider my pronunciation as the general, common Dutch pronunciation.
I found Forvo when I was looking for the pronunciation of the letters 'ść' in Polish, just from curiosity, and I really liked the idea of this site so i joined!
Dutch is my mother tongue, I speak English fairly well and try my best in French, though I'm not fluent yet. I'm planning on spending some time in France this year, to really get in touch with the language and get better through practice.
I've recently made a start with Polish since I have a year off after graduating from high school. As soon as I'm sort of familiar with the language and it's alphabet, I'll be staying a while in Poland aswell to follow a course and improve :)
Veel liefs uit Nederland! / Much love from the Netherlands!
