User's info

I was born and raised in Tórshavn, Faroe Islands, and I'm currently living in Denmark and have done so since 2009.

I speak Faroese with a dialect from Tórshavn, which is widely considered the standard Faroese dialect - possibly due to most people speaking it and possibly due to it being the capital region.

The original Faroese written language allows for dialects to be written as they are pronounced, as long as the general grammatical rules are followed, however, this has largely been replaced with one standard dialect in writing - namely the dialect in Tórshavn.

I can speak, read and write Faroese, Danish and English. I also understand and can read Norwegian as well as some Swedish and Icelandic.
However, I only upload words in Faroese, since I don't have a native accent in any other language.

Sex: Male

Accent/country: Faroe Islands
