User's info

Born before a TV-in-every-house, I live in the US Pacific Northwest state of Oregon. My accent is Oregonian which differs subtly from other Western states as we have a slight vowel pronunciation of 'O' not heard elsewhere. This is most obviously heard in the second 'o' in the word 'Oregonian': it is pronounced as the 'o' in 'goat', not as the 'o' in 'gone' (btw, 'Oregon' is pronounced 'OR-e-gun', never 'OR-e-gone').

Be well, wordfriends.
